Scope:

Utility Coordination subconsultant to EFK Moen. Responsible for locating all utilities within the project limits. Performed records research to assemble facility maps for utilities within the project limits. Oversight of topographical survey, related to utilities, to ensure that they are captured accurately and completely. Single point of contact between project and utility owners. Coordinating closely with utility representatives to make them aware of project related details and identify/address issues as early as possible. Reviewing design plans for potential utility conflicts. Coordinating with utility companies to gather information related to cost and schedule for potential relocations associated with design build project.

Projected Construction Cost:  $16 Million

Replacement of Schoettler Rd. Bridge over Creve Coeur Creek

I-44 Design Build Support Services

I-44 Improvements
from Mraz to Geyer

Scope:

Engineering services for the replacement of the I-44 bridges over the Meramec River in Fenton, MO and associated interchange modifications from west of the Mraz Road to east of Geyer Road.

Size:  3.25 Miles

Projected Construction Cost:  $75 Million

Completion: TBD

Goal: 
Project will replace deficient bridge structures on I-44 crossing the Meramec River and modify interchanges to provide additional capacity.

Poplar Street Bridge Complex

Owner:  MODOT

Scope:

Rebuild the ramp connections between I-64 and I-55/I-70 at the Poplar Street Bridge and widen the Poplar Street Bridge over I-55/I-70.

Size:  .25 Miles

Construction Cost:  $46.2 Million

Designer:  HNTB

Completion: October 2013

Goal: Project will allow for increased traffic capacity at this interchange, by widening the bridge and increasing ramps from one lane to two.

I-64 Daniel Boone Bridge Design-Build

Scope:

This project will replace the existing 80-year-old westbound I-64 bridge. Construction will include replacement of the bridge deck on eastbound I-64, and new approach pavement on the north and south ends of the structure.

Size:  3.75 Miles

Construction Cost:  $125 Million

Designer:  Burns & McDonnell

Builder:  Walsh/Alberici Joint Venture

Completion: October 2015

Goal: The Boone Bridge project will replace an obsolete bridge over the Missouri River, to enable better traffic flow and access between St. Louis and St. Charles.

I-70/Washington Ave./3rd St. Punch-Through

Scope:

This punch-through will provide new ramp access from westbound I-70 to Washington Ave. and Washington Ave. to eastbound I-70. Construction will include new access from northbound 3rd St to westbound I-70.

Size:  .5 Miles

Construction Cost:  $15.6 Million

Completion: March 2013

Goal: 

Improved accessibility and traffic maintenance as part of the MoDOT “Park Over the Highway” Project, more broadly incorporated into the St. Louis Gateway Arch Grounds CityArchRiver 2015 initiative to “create an experience under the arch as memorable as the arch itself.”
